• Applicants should have a Masters degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university
• General category applicants must secure at least 55% marks in post-graduation
• Reserved category candidates require minimum 50% marks
• Final year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply
• PhD degree holders whose Master’s examination was completed before September 19, 1991 are eligible for relaxation
• Four-year Bachelor degree holders with minimum 75% marks can also apply as per revised norms
